If you wanted to capture a print or similar of a child before 18 months then it is possible to use the creases of their fingers to capture a beautiful and wonderfully sweet necklace. Please do get in touch if you want to discuss this further.
Please note that each piece is entirely unique to its owner and everyone’s fingerprints are different. As such the finished piece will not look exactly like the images displayed. What ever you see in the wax print captured will be in the finished piece. If you have any issues or questions I would be happy to help and talk through them!
Sizing - The exact size of the fingerprint pendant is difficult to provide, the sizes are determined by the weight in wax and therefore the weight of your chosen metal. The finished size will be very similar to the size you get in the wax once the print is taken. So whatever your print looks like is exactly what it will look like in your chosen metal. Approximately the width of the necklace will range between 10mm and 14mm.
The tiny size pendant is the perfect size to capture the whole print for a toddler or young child. But you can use this size to capture a larger fingerprint, for example and adult, you may just find that only a partial print is captured in the wax. if you have any questions about this please do get in contact and I would be happy to advise you of the right size for you.
