Yes, absolutely! All pieces are 100% handmade, or cast from a master piece that I have made.
The only things that I buy in are the earring scrolls and chains. These will always be made with sustainable alloys.
-
I conform to the UK Hallmarking Act (1973). It states that it is an offence for any person to describe an un-hallmarked article as being wholly or partly made of precious metals.
Any silver article below 7.78 grams is exempt from hallmarking.
You can find more information about hallmarking here and the compulsory dealers notice here.

When I started Holli Hana, reducing and minimising my impact on the environment was one of the main values that I built into my business. I have written more about how I am doing this on the page about sustainability and the environment.
-
Nope, all postage costs have been incorporated into the costs of the jewellery, so there aren’t any hidden extra costs.
-
I hold a very small stock level and most items are made to order and so for most pieces it will take approximately 2-4 weeks to get the piece made, sent off for hallmarking and posted out to you. If I have the item in stock then I can get it out to you straight away. The exceptions to this are the bespoke work, fingerprint jewellery and breastmilk jewellery. The turn around times are detailed on the shop listings for these items.
I am also a working mum so I am at the mercy of the sickness bug gods and the small people who rule my household!
I will always endeavour to get it to you as soon as possible and keep you in the loop the whole time. If there are any special occasions or deadlines that you are working to, please do get in contact to let me know and I will try my hardest to accommodate you.
-
Yes the chains photographed with the pendant are included in the cost of the piece. The only exception to this are the fingerprint pendants, these do not come with the chain included.
If you would prefer a different chain to the one pictured/ detailed please do get in contact and I can hopefully source the chain you would like. This may impact the final cost of the piece but I will always let you know if this the case.
-
I always strive to beat my turnaround times, but I say 4-6 weeks from when I receive the fingerprint.
If there is a particular rush or occasion you want to have the piece ready fr please do get in contact and I will always work to make the timings wor for you wherever possible.

For a rough guide please see size estimates below.
Tiny - 10mm - 14mm width
Small - 12mm - 18mm width
Original - 15mm-20mm width
The differing sizes of the fingerprint necklaces are done on the weight of the wax and therefore the weight of the chosen metal that dictates the price difference. It very much depends on how hard you push into the wax when creating the fingerprint, the more pressure you apply to he wax the thinner and wider the pendant will be.

You absolutely can!
Just email me to let me know before purchasing so I can look out for it and get it packaged up with a gift message from yourself.
They will love it!
-
Yes absolutely you can!
This is a really lovely way to have two fingerprints if you don’t like stacking or wearing multiple pendants on one chain.
All you need to do is to select the double sided option when you are ready to move ahead with your order.
Please note there is a small additional charge when you select a double sided fingerprint due to the additional care and processing it requires.
What size for double sided prints?
For very young children 18 months - 3 years I would say a tiny size is fine for a double sided print. However any older or if your child has larger prints then I would choose the small size. For adults and teenagers I would recommend the original size.
If you have any questions or want some help choosing the right size don’t hesitate to get in touch, I would be happy to advise!
-
Not to worry. You can redo the print as many times as you need to until you are happy with it.
Whatever you see in the wax print is what you will see in the finished piece.
-
Don’t worry, the beauty of the method that I use is that you can redo the wax until yo are happy with it. Whatever you see in the fingerprint is what you will see in the finished piece so you want to be happy with it.
Make sure you get the wax nice and soft, and have a flat, dust and hair free surface to work on. Try not to handle the print too much once you are happy with it and keep it safe in the container provided.
If there are any major issues with the pint when I receive it I will always work to contact you before casting to make sure you are happy to proceed.
-
Due to the personalised nature of the jewellery it cannot be returned if you are not happy with it. So please do take the time to ensure you are happy with the fingerprint before seeing it back.
This of course does not apply if you believe the piece b faulty. In this case please contact me via the contact page.
-
Once I have received your breastmilk I aim to have the piece finished within 4-6 weeks. I will always aim to try and better this and if you have a specific date or occasion that you are aiming for please do make me aware and I will do my upmost to make your deadline.
-
Ideally I ask for between 10ml & 20ml. However I can work with as little as 5ml. It can be fresh or frozen milk.
-
Yes you can absolutely send me milk from more than one child. This can be mixed in one pot or in separate pots. If you want a specific milk in a specific piece please contact me and I can work with you to make sure you have the pieces you want.
-
I will store any leftover breastmilk powder for 2 years. The powder will be clearly labelled and only used in the unlikely event there are any issues with your piece or anything is lost.
If you would prefer for your remaining breastmilk powder to be returned to you, please indicate this on your return form.
-
Your breastmilk jewellery has been made with UV resistant resin, however after time all resin will start to succumb to the elements. I recommend you follow the jewellery care instructions carefully and avoid wearing your piece in strong sunlight and always remove when cleaning/ swimming or showering.
-
Just a few simple sets can help keep your breastmilk jewellery looking its best.
Clean your jewellery with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush (an old one that you would ordinarily throw in the bin is great!)
Keep your jewellery away from cosmetic & household cleaning products. Just remove whilst applying these & put back on once the skin is dry.
Remove jewellery whilst swimming - did you know that chlorine is corrosive to all your pieces!
Store your jewellery in an airtight pouch or container to prevent tarnishing & scratches
Your breastmilk stone has been made with UV resistant resin, however after time all resin will succumb to the effects of UV rays. To prolong the original colour of your piece I recommend that you refrain from wearing your piece in very strong sunlight, for example on holiday & store your piece out of direct sunlight.
