Original Fingerprint Necklace

Capture a moment in time with this powerfully personal fingerprint necklace.

The original fingerprint pendant is perfect for capturing the fingerprint of a loved one such as your partner, child or parents.

The fingerprint is captured in wax and then cast into either Sterling Silver or 9ct Gold using the ancient technique of lost wax casting.

The process can be carried out in the comfort of your own home where I will supply you with everything you need as well as detailed instructions. Once you have captured your print it will be sent back to me where I will take care of the rest!

As standard the fingerprint pendant comes with one fingerprint. However if you would like to have two prints on one necklace then you can choose to have a double sided fingerprint, just make sure to select double sided in the options!

Please note children under the age of about 18 months don’t have a strong fingerprint as it is still developing therefore I would advise you wait until after 18 months to take their print.

Packs need to be returned within 4 weeks of your order. If you need longer than this please do contact me or purchase a voucher.

The turnaround for a finished pendant is 4-6 weeks once the print is received by me.

Please note that each piece is entirely unique to its owner and everyone’s fingerprints are different. As such the finished piece will not look exactly like the images displayed. What ever you see in the wax print captured will be in the finished piece. If you have any issues or questions I would be happy to help and talk through them!

Sizing - The exact size of the pendant is difficult to provide, the sizes are determined by the weight in wax and therefore the weight of your chosen metal. The finished size will be very similar to the size you get in the wax once the print is taken. So whatever your print looks like is exactly what it will look like in your chosen metal. Approximately the width of the necklace will range between 15mm and 20mm.
